PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for an object approaching a vehicle that can be remotely controlled manually even in a case where an automatic remote control function is damaged due to battery exhaustion. SOLUTION: A portable machine 12 is furnished with a reception circuit 14, an input circuit 15, a control circuit 16, a transmission circuit 17, the first battery 19, the second battery 20, and a switch SW1. During automatic remote control, the first battery 19 supplies power to the reception circuit 14, the control circuit 16 and the transmission circuit 17. During manual remote control, the second battery 20 supplies power to the input circuit 15, the control circuit 16 and the transmission circuit 17. The transmission circuit 17 is connected to the first and second batteries 19 and 20 through the switch SW1, and the switch SW1 can be selectively switched depending on automatic and manual remote control. |
