PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly actuate speed increasing mechanism for a double sliding door even with the free movement of an endless wire, a fitting error of connecting rods and a dimensional error between sliding doors and in its turn, to smoothly move the sliding door with light operating force. SOLUTION: Guide members for guiding and supporting both connecting rods 8a, 8b support the connecting rods 8a, 8b movably to allow the radial movement within a specified range, so that speed increasing mechanism 4 can be smoothly actuated even with the free movment of a wire rope 6, a fitting error of the connecting rods 8a, 8b, a dimensional error between sliding doors and the slightly inclined state of the connecting rods 8a, 8b, and in its turn, the sliding door 1 can be smoothly moved with light operating force.
