MANUFACTURE FOR INK CARTRIDGE FOR INK-JET RECORDING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce an ink cartridge of an ink-jet recording apparatus. SOLUTION: A container main body 1 with the upper part open is provided with foam chambers 6 which store porous bodies 5 of an elastic material for absorbing ink. An ink feed port 8 is formed to a bottom face of the container main body. The container main body is set to a pallet with the bottom face turned upside. A packing is inserted to the ink feed port 8 and a seal film is thermally fused to the ink feed port 8. The container main body 1 is reversed upside down and reset to the pallet. A filter material is fixed to the side of an inflow port connected to the ink feed port 8. The porous material is inserted to the foam chambers 6 in a state to be compressed. A lid material 11 which has an ink injection port, an air communication port, and thin grooves formed to a surface and connected to the air communication port is bonded to the opening part of the container main body 1, whereby a container is formed. A specified amount of ink is injected to the foam chambers 6 and an air- shielding film is bonded to cover at least the ink injection port and an area of the thin grooves of the surface of the lid material 11.
