PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a foreign matter from entering into the space between a rotor and a stator even if a spindle taken out from a bolster and in the state of the foreign matter adsorbing on the periphery surface of the rotor of the spindle is set at the original position. SOLUTION: This motor 1 for driving a single spindle is integrated with the spindle 3 supported by a bolster 2. A disc-like supporting part 9 covering upper end part of the bolster 2 is installed at the intermediate part of the spindle 3, and a magnet rotor 10 is fixed at the out side of the supporting part 9 so as to be integrally rotated. A stator 11 is fixed at the position facing to the rotor 10 in a motor housing 4, and a spindle-inserting hole 13 is formed at the upper side member 4b of the motor housing 4. A cylindrical rubber bush 15 is attached to the inside of a cylinder part 14 constituting the spindle-inserting hole 13. The rubber bush 15 is formed so as to have the same inner diameter as the outer diameter of the rotor 10, and the foreign matter adsorbed on the surface of the rotor 10 is removed when the rotor passes through the rubber bush 15.
