PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric reel capable of preventing its connector and electric cord from being a hindrance while keeping the size of a reel body small. SOLUTION: This electric reel comprises a male connector 11 designed to connect a cord 30 supplying an electric power from an outer electric source under the thumb rest 9 formed in the rear of the reel main body. The connector 11 comprises: a main body screw section 27 having a male screw on its outer periphery; and 2 terminal pins 28a and 28b mounted on the screw section 27. Lead wires 37a and 37b are soldered to the terminal end of the inner side of the terminal pins 28a and 28b. The lead wires 37a and 37b drawn from the terminals pass through a hole section 9c formed under the central section and on the side of the thumb rest 9 and run between a side plate and side cover, finally reaching the motor driving section within a counter case.
