PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod capable of surely informing the existence of a fish, when the fish is hooked on a hook. SOLUTION: This fishing rod having a radio equipment is obtained by attaching a micro radio transmitter 8 and an acoustic member such as bell to the tip of a fishing rod. A receiver or a FM radio communicating with the micro radio transmitter is placed on a fisher man or at a place near to the fisher man.
