PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting method of a printer unit, efficiently capable of performing its sorting work by putting a sightable mark on the side of a continuous paper sheet. SOLUTION: This printer unit has a coloring means 1 capable of putting a mark on an optional position to the side of a continuous paper sheet 10 during the feeding, and also, it is provided with a sorting mode sorting the paper sheet wherein plural pages are printed, as one block, and a termination mode where a termination of this sorting mode is selected, and even when the paper sheet 10 is stacked up, a coloring pattern turning to such a mark that it is of a paper sheet separation position can be set up at the time of sorting work, if seeing from the side of the paper sheet 10.
