PURPOSE: An apparatus for forming a flat panel is provided to maintain a proper work temperature for a shell mold, and a thermo-equilibrium for a formation inserted in a lower mold. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for forming a flat panel includes a glass gob supplier(10), a lower mold(21), a shell mold(23), a plurality of burner nozzle(31), and a nozzle support(35). The rectangular lower mold(21) receives a glossgob from the glass gob supplier and forms one side surface of a flat panel. The shell mold includes an open center and implemented in a upper part of the lower mold. A plurality of burner nozzle is implemented around the shell mold and injects a flame into the shell mold. The nozzle support supports the burner nozzle.
