PURPOSE:To provide a DC semiconductor breaker small in size, light in weight and less in power consumption by driving plural breaker elements only by a single current limit drive part in order to decrease the necessary number of current limit drive parts. CONSTITUTION:The output terminals of a pair of current limit drive parts are connected to the gate terminals of breaker elements Q1 and Q2 which are connected in parallel to the drain and source terminals respectively via the gate voltage dividing resistances RS1 and RS2 followed by the capacitors C1 and C2 connected in parallel to each other. The ratios between the resistances RS1 and RS2 and the gate resistances R1 and R2 of the elements Q1 and Q2 are set at the different levels for each of both elements Q1 and Q2. Then a switch part S1 which opens and closes the gate-source connection is connected to one of elements Q1 and Q2 that has a higher ratio set between the resistances R1 and R2 against the resistance RS1 and RS2. The reference voltage VS1 is applied to one of both ends of the input terminal of a comparator 6 which drives the part S1 together with a current time production signal Vt applied to the other end of the input terminal respectively. |
