PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid joint provided with a high quality fitting groove. SOLUTION: This fluid joint is constituted so that both end faces of a pipe 5 and a joint pipe 6 are butted to each other through a gasket 4, the thrust force of a cap nut 1 obtained by screwing a female thread 1 of a cap nut 1a fitted into the tube 5 and a male thread 6a formed to the joint pipe 6 is transmitted to the tube 5 through a ferrule 2 fitted into a fitting groove of the pipe 5, both end faces of the pipe 5 and the joint pipe 6 are pushed to each other in the axial direction, both are air-tightly fastened, the fitting groove of the pipe 5 is formed by form rolling so that a form roller pressed to a prescribed place of the pipe 5 reduces the diameter of the pipe while being rotated on the circumference of the pipe 5.
