PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for hanging a curtain for forming an opening condition responding to a using situation. SOLUTION: A curtain 12 is hung from a rail 11 of a device 1 for hanging the curtain. A first to a sixth hanging strings 13 to (18) are provided at an interval on the curtain 12. Each of the hanging strings 13 to (18) is penetrated through a ring member 19 of the curtain 12 and is fixed to a lower section of the curtain 12 together with a weight. First to sixth ascending means 21 to (26), which vertically move each of the hanging strings 13 to (18) at the same time, are provided to the rail 11, and sending back members 27 are engaged to the second to the fifth hanging strings 14 to (17) with a play. First and second connecting codes are connected with each of the sending-back members 27, and are rotatably movable to the right. Guide members 63 are provided respectively at ascending device 33 to (36), and lower and upper switching points 64 slidebly contacted with the hanging strings 14 to (17) which are pulled in the right and left directions by the sending-back members 27 are provided at a cylinder section 62 of the guide members 63.
