PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of freedom of a floor plan, and to reduce cost by increasing strength by obtaining frame strength by jointly using a standard building unit having standard strength and a high-strength building unit. SOLUTION: In the unit building 30, frame strength is increased without using a reinforcing frame and a split unit by installing sections, in which frame strength must be made larger than standard strength, such as high-strength building units 10B as the lower-floor building units of a multistoried building or as at least a part of building unit groups in a row when the building unit has the building unit groups in a row, the degree of freedom of a floor pan in the unit building 30 is improved, and cost can be reduced. In the high strength units 10B, strength can be augmented without changing the size of columns by increasing the wall thickness of the columns and constituting the columns of a high-strength material. The abutting sections of beams abutted against the side faces of the columns are formed in a shape coinciding with the side face shapes of the columns, and joint strength can be enhanced by joining the abutting sections with the columns.
