VENTILATING WATER SEAL TRAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating water seal trap capable of preventing the trap seal destruction in a drainage system having simple constitution. SOLUTION: A venting water seal trap is equipped with a water seal forming section 16 having an inlet 11 of water flowing thereinto and an outlet 14 bein formed in drainable manner and, at the same time, forming a seal water and a ventiduct 20 having a vent inlet 21 opened downward from the water seal surface in a normal state on the inlet 11 side and a vent outlet 24 opened upward of the same level as the water seal surface in a normal state on the outlet 14 side and connecting the vent inlet 21 to the vent outlet 24 at a passage. When the outlet 11 side becomes negative pressure to lower the water seal surface, it is so constituted that the open air on the inlet 11 side can flow into the outlet 14.
