SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing in which nozzle with cross segment slot on its outer side is arranged. Segment slot is connected by means of hole with inner cavity of housing. Apparatus also includes apertural partition placed between nozzle and housing, branch pipe joined with housing. Nozzle has on its inner side cross segment slot crossing segment slot of outer side of nozzle along its width. Apertures are arranged on periphery of partition along axis of segment slot at inner side of nozzle. EFFECT: enhanced uniformness of distributing cooling agent along sprinkling zone on surface of continuously cast ingot, increased opening angles of torch of cooling agent. 6 cl, 5 dwg, 1 tbl
