The roller skate binding is for a walking boot with a crenellated sole across which are mounted T-shaped straps (9) of rigid plastics. The straps have central bores (10) to receive retaining pins for the roller blade upper lugs (5) which have matching bores (6). The boot sole and upper face of the roller blade have matching crenellations.
