<p>A human RelA binding inhibitor (RAI) consisting of 351 amino acids; a cDNA encoding this RelA binding inhibitor; a fragment capable of selectively hybridizing the cDNA sequence; a replication or expression plasmid having the cDNA integrated thereinto; host cells transformed by the plasmid; an antibody against the polypeptide; medicinal compositions containing the peptide or the antibody; and a method for diagnosing a disease by using the antibody against RAI. Because of binding to p55 which is a subunit of NFλB, the above RAI is seemingly useful in treating and/or preventing various diseases in which NFλB might participate.</p> |
