<p>An editing device and an editing method capable of easier and more accurate editing work, wherein an editing work for preparing an editing list is done in such ways that markers RSM, GSM are detected by a high-speed access to a tape-like recording medium (1), material data read from the recording medium on detection of the markers are registered in a preset file (125), the material data registered in the file (125) are displayed and an editing list of the material data is prepared by using the displayed material data, thereby making it possible to simplify an editing list preparation work without accessing the material data on the recording medium (1).</p> |
