<p>Articles comprising substantially uniform porous coatings, which may be photopatterned, are provided. The use of such porous coatings increases the surface density of attached compounds within, for example, ligand arrays prepared by methods such as regionally selective solid-phase chemical synthesis. Arrays prepared using the porous coatings may be used within a variety of diagnostic and drug discovery assays.</p> |
