<p>A tensioner (10) has shaft members (12, 13) that are threadedly engageable with each other through threaded portions (16, 17). The first shaft member (12) is rotatable relative to a case (11) and restrained from axial movement. The second shaft member (13) is restrained from rotating relative to the case (11) but is axially movable. A torsion spring (18) imparts torque in a first direction to the first shaft member (12). A torque switching member (30) capable of switching the frictional torque in relation to the amount of rotation of the first shaft member (12) is installed between the first shaft member (12) and the case (11).</p> |
