Paraglider canopy has an inflatable nose profile with non-return valve flaps in front of the air openings to give a good unfolding and increased maneuverability and safety

The paraglider structure has an inflatable nose profile (10) at the canopy, with a pressure control to set the nose radius to the flying speed. Flaps (11) act as non-return valves in front of the air openings (6), to prevent emptying of the canopy chambers on local reduced air barrier effects, to act over the whole spread of the highest build-up pressure while otherwise the tendency is towards the lowest pressure.
