A device for introducing a reducing agent, such as a water-urea solution, into a section of the exhaust pipe (2) of an internal combustion engine leading to a reduction catalyst. The reducing agent is introduced into the exhaust pipe via a dedicated line (4) that opens into said exhaust pipe. The mouth of said line is provided with a spray head that comprises at least one spray outlet (8) and a tapered cross-section (12).
