The temp. controller (10) has a device (20) for comparing the actual and demanded board temp. and a device (24) for activating the board heater when the comparison device indicates a certain relationship. The devices are mounted close to each other in the distribution board. No cable is required between the distribution board and the coupled tractor vehicle. An Independent claim is also included for a road laying machine distribution board with a heater.
