<p>The present invention provides a plasma display panel (PDP) capable of directly and effectively removing impurities from a discharging space for thereby enhancing a purity of a discharging gas. A PDP comprises a getter layer (1) formed on at least a portion of the barrier ribs (B). The getter layer (1) may be independently formed at an upper portion of each of the barrier ribs (B) with respect to each discharging cell (A) or may be formed to cross each other at every other cell with respect to discharging cells (A) formed in a direction that the barrier ribs (1) are extended. Also, the getter material particles are dispersed in an insulation material so that the getter layer (1) has an electrical insulation characteristic.</p> |
