The invention concerns a film comprising at least two layers and, for at least part of its surface an organic material layer promoting inter-laminar shear and tear resistance of said film when the latter is subjected to tension or tear. The organic material can be a glue/varnish. The film is used for packaging, in particular tear-resistant packaging.
