The invention comprises compounds of general formula in which: Ar stands for a phenyl radical which may be substituted by halogen, nitro, halogen and nitro, trifluoromethyl, halogen and trifluoromethyl, lower (1-4C) alkyl or lower alkoxycarbonyl, or stands for a triazine radical which may be substituted by halogen; and R stands for a halogen-substituted lower alkyl radical, or for a phenyl radical which may be substituted as above, or for a morpholino radical, a piperidino radical, or a further Ar-N(CF3)- or Ar-N(CF3) -S- radical which is identical with such radical already in the molecule; and wherein the substituted radicals contain one or more of the stated substituents: and their preparation by reacting a compound of formula Ar-NH-CF3 with a sulphenic acid chloride or bromide of formula R-S-X or with monosulphur dichloride or with disulphur dichloride.ALSO:Pesticidal compositions comprise, in admixture with solid or liquid diluents or carriers, compounds of general formula wherein: Ar stands for a phenyl radical which may be substituted by halogen, nitro, halogen and nitro, trifluoromethyl, halogen and trifluoromethyl, lower (1-4 C) alkyl or lower alkoxy-carbonyl, or stands for a triazine radical which may be substituted by halogen; and R stands for a halogen-substituted lower alkyl radical, or for a phenyl radical which may be substituted as above, or for a morpholino radical, a piperidino radical, or a further Ar-N(CF3)- or Ar-N(CF3)-S- radical which is identical with such radical already in the molecule; and wherein the substituted radicals contain one or more of the stated substituents. The compounds are insecticidal, acaricidal and fungicidal. An emulsion containing a non-ionic surface-active agent is specified.
