The arrangement has several individual light sources (5,6), each associated with an object (3,4) or group of objects in the interior of the vehicle so as to illuminate them from close to. The light sources have a flat lit surface with a uniform light density. Each source has a layered body with an electroluminescent layer between two electrodes.
