<p>A protective coating for a surface subjected to paint spray comprises an adhesion reducing compound including a low surface energy material and/or a filler along with one or more optional ancillary ingredients such as adhesion promoters, dispersants, corrosion inhibitors, thickeners, surfactants, pH control agents, colorants, plasticizers, defoaming agents, and combinations thereof. The present invention also provides a method of removing paint from an article subjected to paint spray using the aforedescribed compositions.</p> |
