The present invention relates to a clamp roller ratchet mechanism (1) comprising a driving element (10) which can be deflected from a release position in opposite directions by using a pivoting lever (3). An output element (a coupling ring 15) is also provided. The output element and the driving element (10) with clamping surfaces define wedge-shaped clamping slots (37, 38) which taper in opposite directions. Clamp rollers (39) are arranged in the clamping slots (37, 38). Said rollers are disengaged from the clamping surfaces by means of a first stop (a tongue 42) fixed to the apparatus when the driving element (10) is in a release position. According to the invention, the driving element (10) comprises two driving components (13, 14) which can be rotated in opposite directions and which are firmly supported by the apparatus when the driving element (10) is in a release position, whereby the pivoting lever (3) engages with the first driving component (13) in positive fit in the first direction of deflection and engages with the second driving component (14) in positive fit in the opposite direction. |
