<p>An electrolyte for driving an electrolytic capacitor, comprises a solvent consisting of 20 to 80 weight% of an organic solvent and 80 to 20 weight% of water and an electrolysis solution containing at least one kind of electrolyte selected from the group consisting of carbonic acid, its salts, organic acids, and their salts and an addition compound of at least one kind of nitro compound selected from the group consisting of nitrophenol, nitrobenzoic acid, dinitrobenzoic acid, nitroacetophenone, and nitroanisole. The electrolyte has a low impedance, excellent low-temperature characteristics, and good life characteristics. Even if the electrolyte contains a mixture solvent having a large water content and even if the electrolytic capacitor is used in a high-temperature environment, an excellent hydrogen gas absorption effect is achieved.</p> |
