A silo (1) contains an additional internal cone (4) with/without different materials, or a cylinder section (2) has an additional cylinder wall. Shape and/or discharge angle of cone or wall can be altered as required during material extraction, by moving the outlet (11) of a discharge cone. The alterations are caused by the application of a pressure medium in direction of the silo center. Inflateable hoses (5,6) are positioned between inner and outer cones. The hoses are of an elastic material, e.g. rubber, and have an outer webbing jacket. The aid is used with e.g. an agitator.
