Multi-directional spray system, arranged in modules, used to remove ink from printing machine parts by chemical and mechanical action. The parts are rotated in a drum during this process. The cleaning material can be applied safely at temperatures in excess of 100 deg C and hence the water that is formed as a reaction product, which must not be mixed with the cleaning materials, will be evaporated. The cleaning material is glycol ether with alkaline additives.
