The invention relates to a device for enabling an observer visually to verif y the angle-dependent scattering behaviour of an object. The device comprises a holding unit (2) having a measurement window (5) which can be moved into a defined relative position in relation to the object (4, 4', 4'') and an observation window (7) which is visible to the observer (8); a light supply (6) which is held by the holding unit (2) and directs substantially parallel light beams (9) onto the measurement window (5) at a defined angle (.alpha.) ; and a light-guiding device (11) which is also held by the holding unit (2), captures a plurality of light beams (10) moving outwards at different angles (.beta.1, .beta.2) from a point on the measurement window (5) and represents said light beams in the observation window (7) in a parallel or convergent manner.
