<p>Vibration data is transmitted from a remote site (10) to a monitoring facility (30) using wireless data transmission. In one embodiment, the vibration signal is conditioned and digitized, and information indicative of machine condition is sent via a page transmitter to the monitoring facility (30). In another embodiment, the vibration signal is conditioned and digitized, and machine condition information is sent via satellite to a hub satellite receiving station (20).
