The invention relates to a method for de-inking waste paper by floating aqueous slurries of printed paper in the presence of enzymes. Mixtures are used as collecting agents which contain (a) 1 to 10 % acidic cellulases, (b) 10 to 40 % fatty alcohol polyglycol ether and (c) 50 to 89 % inorganic and/or organic salts, with the provision that the amounts add up to 100 %.
