The invention relates to a cable-saw machine (1), comprising a frame (2), a motor drive (7) and a driven cable store (6) for a saw cable (3) which is moved in rotation. The drive (7) has several adjacent drive wheels (11, 12) around which the saw cable (3) is wound and which are jointly driven by one motor (8). The motor (8) and optionally, a intermediate gear (9) can be removed by means of a change coupling (10). The cable-saw machine (1) can al so be separated into at least three base components, i.e. a main roller head (34), a frame unit (35) and a motor unit (36).
