The arrangement has a housing with inlet and outlet channels with fans (8,9), coupled via a heat exchanger (18) for heat recovery, with connections to inner and outer openings. A heat exchanger defroster has a first closure flap (12) for closing the outlet opening, to which an air delivery channel is connected. The housing has at least one other closable opening (6) to the interior connected inside the housing to the air delivery channel at or near its end terminated by the first external opening (3). The first external opening is closed by the first flap, and the housing opening is opened to feed warm air from the housing opening through the delivery channel for defrosting.
