The valve arrangement has an engine valve with head and stem sections, whereby the stem slides in the cylinder head (11), an armature (4) with an axle section connected to the valve stem. An actuator housing, an electromagnetic actuator, a pair of first and second spring elements (7,8) bias the valve in opposite directions and an oil structure with an oil heating structure (23) that heats the oil prior to initialization of the valve arrangement.
