3-(1-Phosphonomethyl-cyclopentane-1-carbonylamino)-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro- 2-oxo-1H-1-benzazepine-1-acetic acid derivatives (I) are new. Benzazepine derivatives of formula (I) and their salts are new: R1-R3 = H or biolabile ester residue. An Independent claim relates to the preparation of (I).
