<p>Sealing ring (1) made from an elastically deformable material and having a profiled polygonal cross section with an inner circumferential wall, two side flanks and an outer circumferential wall, comprising continuously encircling indentations (5, 6) in both side flanks and in the outer circumferential wall; and at least two lips (2) which project radially inwards from the inner circumferential wall and delimit a cavity, which lips (2) are deformable in the axial direction of the sealing ring (1). In particular, the wall parts on either side of each continuously encircling indentation (5, 6) have highest points (8) which lie at a location where the sealing ring (1) is not reduced by a continuously encircling indentation (5, 6) in the side flank or outer circumferential wall which is perpendicular thereto. <IMAGE></p> |
