Lap joint between two plate shaped parts

One of the plate-shaped parts (2,3) contains an elongated hole (7) matching the path along which it moves. A pin or arm (17) on the other plate-shaped part fits through the elongated hole. The free end of the other plate-shaped part has a collar or flange (19) protruding sideways over the lengthwise edges of the hole. One of the plate-shaped parts has a catch which fixes the parts in an end position in which the plates over each other.
