<p>The seal unit for a rotary shaft passing through the wall of a housing containing a liquid lubricant under pressure has a first annular seal lip designed to resist a pressure of under 1 bar and allow a shaft speed of over 5000 rpm, and a second seal lip able to withstand a pressure of over 5 bars, located between the first lip and the inner volume of the housing. The seal unit for a rotary shaft (3) passing through the wall of a housing (2) containing a liquid lubricant under pressure has a first annular seal lip (14) designed to resist a pressure of under 1 bar and allow a shaft speed of over 5000 rpm, and a second seal lip (6) able to withstand a pressure of over 5 bars, located between the first lip and the inner volume (4) of the housing. The two seal lips enclose a lubricant collection chamber (25) with an outlet (11), and the unit also has a graduated nozzle (26) which links the inner volume directly with the collecting chamber.</p> |
