PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a secured screw efficiently removable without selecting a place. SOLUTION: A bolt cutter device 10, after it is set so as to abut to a nut of a screw softened by heating a first inner wall 11a in a side without arranging a hydraulic jack 14 in a housing 11, supplies an oil pressure to the hydraulic jack from a hydraulic pump 15. When the oil pressure is supplied, a piston 18 in the hydraulic jack presses a back surface 12b of a wedge case 12. As a result, an edge point 13a of a wedge 13 leads to a part with an outer edge of the nut abutting to a washer and advances into a clearance between the nut and the washer, the edge point is pressed in toward a bolt while spreading this clearance, to bite in the bolt after leading to its outer periphery, and the bolt is cut in a short time.
