PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate handling and to minimize an arranging area while enabling the treatment of a large vol. of exhaust gas. SOLUTION: An inner cylinder 3 is provided in an outer cylinder 2 having a cylindrical body part and cylindrical ceramic filters 10 are radially arranged and fixed to the wall surfaces of the outer and inner cylinders 2, 3 in a multistage fashion. Exhaust gas is introduced into the internal space between the outer and inner cylinders 2, 3 from a gas introducing port 7 to pass through the ceramic filters 10 to be discharged from the internal space of the inner cylinder 3 through a gas lead-out port 9.
