PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of an endless joint in a belt of a belt-press type dewatering apparatus to be employed in a paper manufacturing plant and a beer brewery. SOLUTION: This joint comprises hooks 71 implanted in both rim parts of a filter cloth 70 in the running direction and the hooks 7 are made of a Hastelloy C alloy wire. After porous sheets 72 of either polyurethane fibers or polyurethane foams are set in filter cloth rim parts 70a and the hooks 71 made of a Hastelloy C alloy are implanted in the rim parts 70a, the parts where the filter cloth rim parts 70a and the porous sheets 72 are overlapped are impregnated with a polyurethane resin adhesive 73 produced from a mixture of an aliphatic polyurethane condensate terminated with NCO group and an aromatic polyol, or a mixture of an aromatic polyurethane terminated with NCO group and either an aliphatic polyester polyol terminated with OH group or an aliphatic polyester polyol, and then the adhesive is cured.
