PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure a temperature inside an earhole by providing a voice synthesizing means for informing a user of a measured temperature or an action condition and informing the user of the measured temperature and the action condition in voice through a speaker. SOLUTION: This clinical thermometer has a voice synthesizing means 6 for generating electrical voice signals based on signals outputted from a temperature reduction means 5 and a voice signal amplifier 8 for amplifying voice signals outputted from the voice synthesizing means 6 to drive a speaker 6. With those means, a user can be informed of the result of measurement in voice.
