PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining chair capable of a good relative position relation between a backrest and a seat occupant even if the backrest is obliquely moved. SOLUTION: A pair of leg bases 11 disposed at a specified interval in left and right directions support a backrest 12 rotatable in a forward/backward direction and a seat 15 rotatable and an upper/lower direction, and both are connected by a connecting link 16 such that the seat 15 is moved associatively with the backrest 12. The position of the forward/backward direction of the rotational center axis Ob of the backrest 12 is set in the vicinity of the position of the coxa Oh of a seat occupant 14 when the occupant 14 is imagined while the backrest 12 is erected.
