A high efficiency mechanical transducer assembly including a primary drive assembly defined by at least one but preferably a plurality of synchronized conveyors being vertically oriented and structured to travel in a continuous path which is defined in part by a downward path segment and an upward path segment. A plurality of elongate arms are movably coupled at proximal ends thereof so as to move with each of said conveyors and relative thereto such that the arms automatically assume a collapsed position when travelling along the upward path segment and an outwardly extended position when travelling along the downward path segment. A weight structure is secured adjacent the distal end of each of the arms so as to exert a greater moment of force on a respective conveyor to which they are attached due to the fact that the weight structure of each arm is disposed a greater spaced distance from the respective conveyor than is the weight structure of each of the arms when travelling along the upward path segment and being disposed in the collapsed position. The power takeoff is driven effectively by the plurality of conveyors and delivers usable energy produced by the movement of the plurality of conveyors.
