Fibre cables (28) enter through ports on either side of the compartmented rack (27). Each compartment has its top, bottom, sides and rear enclosed. A drawer (19) is shown open. Two strips (21) of fire-retardant, flexible plastic stretch from the rear (22) of the drawer to the front of the compartment roof (23).
