<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain excellent sheet conveying performance and to improve adjusting performance after discharge by stopping a sheet conveying means to stop a sheet, and restarting the sheet conveying means in the case of detecting the inclusion of a sheet with different conveying conditions in a plurality of sheets discharged overlapped from the sheet conveying means. SOLUTION: In a first way, a sheet stands by being left wound around a sheet conveying means (buffer roller) 505 until the buffer roller 505 is restarted by the other succeeding sheet, and the sheet is discharged together with the succeeding sheet. In a second way, the buffer roller 505 is automatically restarted due to some event to discharge the sheet. In this case, since a 'winding discharge flag' indicating discharge from the buffer roller 505 part is set, the 'winding discharge flag' is reset, and driving of the buffer roller 505 is switched on to discharge the sheet. Thereafter a flapper is switched in the same way as 'the case of not wound paper' to perform discharge processing to a handling tray.</p> |
