PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a global prediction of the paths of moving bodies as general objects. SOLUTION: Observation data on a moving body obtained by a sensor 10 is converted by a target information obtaining means 11 to obtain observation information such as the latitude and longitude of the moving body at each time. The observation information is held at a target information storage means 12 as time-series information. A plurality of past histories of a series of observation information on the moving body are stored in a path history database 13. A means 14 for computing the degree of similarity computes the degree of similarity between each history stored in the path history database 13 and the time-series information in the target information storage means 12. A path determining means 15 predicts a history with a high degree of similarity with the time-series information in the target information storage means 12 as the path of the moving body and outputs it. A display means 17 displays a present path and the predicted path together with a map. |
